San Francisco Family Home

An inviting study in neutrals, texture, and pattern play. The program was to design a sophisticated and forward-thinking family home reading well-considered without anything appearing too serious. Updated and renovated to feel warm, artful, and purposefully layered. Weaving together a cohesive collection of wallcoverings and decorative painting selections on nearly every wall and ceiling surface serves as a base layer for the sculptural furniture choices and artwork. Thoughtful curation and design around creating sightlines of San Francisco’s famed Bay Bridge offer a sincere resonance to many spaces within. Highlights include custom DMc-designed fluted kitchen cabinetry, star-studded statement lighting selections, and highly curated, tailored, or customized furniture selections throughout. Fun fact: the iconic DMc Fade ombré stair runner was first designed as a one-off rug for this home.
