Quintessential DMc “World Traveler” style infuses this eclectic-electric loft. The furnishing and décor relay a fresh mix of old and new, uniquely tying together antiques, art, and custom designs through classic interior design detailing. The underlying methodology and ethos emptied four storage units, edited and combined 10 years and four different homes of strident collections between two people. Salon-style art hanging and layered curiosities create a sense of wonder and feast for wandering eyes throughout. The Insta-Famous “yellow bedroom” in George’s Chinoiserie by VOUTSA stands out as both inspiration and foundation for the design of these combined spaces. Highlights include a USM-clad pre-pandemic WFH setup in taxicab yellow, an expansive open living plan, copper kitchen wall centerstage and complementing copper island bar server, and a burgeoning Aboriginal art collection.
